To a movie? I'd go casual.
Well the place we have where I live is actually pretty nice. I think that anything would be fine and not make you look out of place there.
If it's like a dinner theater, medium casual. But dress how you feel you should; you know your area. I live in backwater, USA. If the county has an armpit, it's where I live. :P
Well its pretty much all over the place. I live in Alabama. The city I live in isn't big and I wouldn't even consider a city. There's not much to do except go to the movies, bowling, skating, and the park.
Pretty much the same here in Wisconsin. Without the heat and humidity. :)But I think you'll be a good judge of what to wear. I wouldn't go too formal, though. It may seem awkward. You could look like this: 36.media.tumblr.com/.../...wX1tbrceao1_r1_1280.pngBut it may be a little over the top. :P
I'd probably go with something like that. The humidity actually isn't that bad you get used to it same with the heat in a way.
It's from an anime movie called When Marnie Was Here. The movie is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roImmSF4YGABe prepared to bawl your eyes out. I did. But it's a super good movie. I watched it yesterday for the first time and loved it.

Just something casual or a sunny dress
I think casual is best.
