I'm turning 18 next year and I can't ever imagine being ith someone who's only 5 years older than my father.
You are both in very different stages of life, you have lots of experience, she hasn't.
18 may be the legal age, but at 18 you haven't experienced what most people have int heir late 20's, let alone 30's. Jobs, a house, children, life itself. She's 18, she has other expectations in a relationship. It will most likely not succeed.
You may both love eachother, no doubt that that is possible, but when you are in a relationships you'll notice that after a while, you aren't on the same level. It hurts but it is the truth.3

i´d say it´s not appropriate. at 36 you are presumably seatteled and experienced, whereas your life at 18 is quickly changing and inconsistent. those two phases don´t fit so well together. i don´t wan´t to paint it black but man that´s not very promising.2
