Yesterday I asked my friend out and she said "at the moment I like someone else". The thing is prior to me asking her she was sending me signals, being flirty and even asking me if I fancy her. I don't know if I just missed my opportunity because we've gone to different colleges after being at secondey school together. I was wondering if me planting the idea in her head that I like her would mean maybe in the long run she'll start to like me? Or am I just clutching at straws here because I feel really crappy now.
I just asked my friend out and she said no... Is there still hope?

She is not interested in you. She already told you that. You probably misinterpreted the "signals" she gave you.
You should move on.0

I would cut ties and focus on other opportunities0
