I want my guy friend to see me as a woman?

I have this guy friend that I've grown close to over the semester and I really like him, but I think he sees me as a shy good girl. We have a lot in common and have a similar sense of humor, and when we first started talking it was sometimes flirty but now its completely platonic... He's a year older than me.

I asked him once if he thought I was shy, and he said sometimes I seem nervous.
I'm not a very assertive person, and can be quiet sometimes and definitely give off a "sweet" vibe, but I'm tired of my conservative nature getting in the way of being taken seriously.

I want to make him see me in a different light and not like a little sister.

  • No, you're just the way you're. Maybe he will see you different someday. But it sounds like he's friendzoning you and you're romantically interested at him?

  • What do you mean "being taken seriously"? You can be shy, reserved, and sweet, and still be feminine and attractive to men.
