Give me a few things you're interested in and I will.
See even when i contact a girl regarding something on her profile i like the OP get no response, yet some a hole messages her he gets a response
@ry_ro i meant if you can copy and paste one of the messages you've sent to someone, i'll look over it. this girl is off the market lol.@Tomsta same goes for you; if you'd like help, post a sample message here and i'll take a look at it... if the girls are responding to a-holes, there's probably another reason for that (ie: she doesn't think she deserves more than some dickweed who gets off on pounding her self-esteem into the ground).
@vonasaurusHello there fellow dancer. I've done Salsa for 3 years and focused on bachata for the past 2 and a bit years, what got you into Salsa?
no I know you're married I wasn't inquiring, I was just asking so I could send you a message like you were a girl I was interested in
@ry_ro gotcha! sorry for the misunderstanding... i'll give you a character to work with lol.her name is stacy; she's 25 and likes old movies, art, and chinese food. she volunteers at an animal shelter on weekends and is doing her master's degree in biology. she's seeking an ltr with the "right" guy... aaaaaand go!
Hello Stacey, i to love animal and wouldn't mind vouleteering at an animal shelter to, what kind of animals do you deal with? Also do you find it helps you with your masters degree at all?
Hey Stacy, I think it's really awesome you spend time volunteering at a shelter on the weekends, it must be fun to play with them all. Hows your master's going, you almost done?
@Tomsta very cool! i see no issues with your message, but maybe try playing with the wording a bit."hey there (name). i see that we're both dancers, which is pretty cool; i've been doing salsa for the last 3 years. from one dancer to another, what inspired you to start dancing?"this shows you have common interest and are interested in getting to know her more. women put up with a lot of creeps on these sites, so talking to someone who takes a genuine interest in her and her hobbies is like a breath of fresh air.
@ry_ro not bad... if you want to create a bond, though, maybe try this instead:"hey stacy, nice to "meet" you. i see we're both animal lovers- you must really enjoy volunteering at the shelter. are you hoping to work there full-time once you've finished school?my name is (name) , by the way. you seem really cool, and i'd definitely like to chat with you. good luck with your finals and maybe we can go for coffee sometime if you need a study break.just an example, but you can take it in any direction you wish. both of you are on the right track though, and i wish you luck :)
do longer messages and asking for a date on the first approach work or is it too. much at once
it can work; in this scenario, it's probably appropriate since studying=stress. and, if she associates you with a break from that stress, it may help your cause.my now-husband and i talked for a month before we met in person. but i did associate him with a break from my soul-sucking job. most of the people i dealt with at work were complete numbskulls, so it was a relief to talk to someone on my level.of course, you don't have to ask her out immediately if you aren't comfortable doing so. but, in saying that, you've put the ball in her court and she'll tell you how she feels about meeting up (ie: thanks, but too soon or cool, will keep that in mind). hopefully she'll take you up on the offer. :)
