Is it wrong to feel bad about rejection?

Anonymous
When a girl rejects a guy, the guy should accept it, be a gentleman and move on, i get that, but if I feel disappointed for a bit, is that really wrong? Like do girls expect a guy who spent time getting to know them to just instantly be over it and not feel anything? If the guy gets aggressive and yells at her, yea that's horrible, but if he brushes it off and goes off to deal with it on his own, should he be shamed for that?
