My girlfriend broke up with me about eight months ago, and we had not spoken sinds until about four weeks ago we went on a holiday with four different families, including hers. So during the eight months it felt like I had gotten over her, but then when I saw her again I realised how much I'd actually missed her.
I tends to be a cycle honestly. When I'm first without a girl I tend to miss her more and more as I think about why I want her back. Eventually I start getting my mind off of it and moving on so the feeling dissipates.
It can do both for a short time it will make the heart go fonder. Months to a year get over her. But it also depends on why we are separated.
I honestly have to say both. I miss her or better yet the "idea" of her but the absence helps me slowly get over her but I'll always miss her.
Depends. How far things have gone, tbh. If I'm at the point I no longer care, absence helps me move on. If I do still care, absence helps me realize that as well.
Depends on how long the absence is
