Does it really count as a long distance relationship if one travels a lot?

When me and my significant other met she gave details about where she is from. After she said she was from Italy she said she travels a lot, like sometimes she is in the U. S sometimes she is not. I get that but the relationship thing was confusing even after she asked me about traveling with her. It still felt like a long distance relationship a little bit.

  • To me it counts as not even a relationship. That whole loving at a distance is not for me. They might as well just be single if they are ok with spending long periods of time away from me. I like to spend time with my boyfriend and be able to call him up to hang out and not have to keep asking over a phone "when can I see you, miss you" etc.
