Did you get any dates from it? I'm in a small area so not many around here on it it seems.
I met up with a few guys that we meshed well over the phone, but it fizzled out.
Ok. I just started it. But not sure how far it will all go.

Oh why not locally?
I wanted to move anyway, but locally it would be very hard for someone with three kids to meet the type of woman I was interested in.
How about women who want kids but do not want a fuck boy. Are you in or out?
@TrixiePooch: I'd be open to them, yes.
How did you not get a single response? Bumble has the female users make contact.
@snowangle I mean no one ever contacted me or messaged me back, except for that one time on Tinder. In all of my time on dating apps, I got one message. On Bumble occasionally I would match up with someone, and then twenty-four hours would tick by and they wouldn't message me.
Lol at the tall question
@Afrochick Lol, I just love how it's cool to make me feel like shit about myself.
The profiles I am talking about will have very good looking guys like good looking that it's too good to be true.
Yeah, you're really old.
So you are dating and talking to people on there?
Met someone, we've been a on a number of dates over last couple of weeks, no conversations about relationship or exclusivity. At similar sort of time I met someone else, so yeah still talking to them. Having had recent experience of investing a couple of months in someone, stopping any other conversations, only for them to walk away, until i'm in a relationship i dont see a problem
Ah okay, just the way you worded it was like you were dating someone while talking to another. Sorry my bad 😊
I struggle with the vernacular sometimes. Dating someone to me is an informal stage getting to know someone, before seeing someone which implies a relationship. If i were seeing anyone it would be exclusive
Haha no, I've just changed my mind. I thought I did but when I thought about it more and more I found out how insecure I really am 😅 It's just a friend suggested bumble and I was a little skeptical about it and curious if anyone else had used it or not 😊
Are you trolling? The quotes don't match with the thread.
Not wanting to pry, but out of curiosity, have you tried WeGoDo?
@LegateLanius Got some results from time to time. Go watch a movie, check out a place of interest locally, just activities. MeetUp is much more consistent and better though.
Did it take a while to match and date?
So you have used it for dating, and from your picture you’re cute. I read how like 70% of women using Such apps use them for attractiveness confirmation aka ego stroke or out of boredom, or to just window shop. So most may talk to a guy or match but why meet ups rarely happen because never having the intention to actually date or meet up. I’ve used the app and had some matches. Too many times a match would happen only for none of the women to write of start convo and the 24 hours passed. I extended one before because that can happen when bush but not writing. Or a few messages and woma. Stops after like two messages. It was to be a supplement to irl, abc while it’s cool to get matches every now and then. And not expecting it to be easy of course but does make me feel that it’s true that most women just use it for attention.
@brennanhuff Yeah you're probably right that many woman use it for that reason. I've done it for that purpose in the past. Not REALLY looking, but just seeing what's out there (plus I'd get overly nervous at the thought of meeting someone in person from online). This time however I was determined to actively use it and go on dates.
@snowangle I have been on there for a bit. I got one message after I extended it. I answered back and it's been 2 days with no reply. Do women really use it for attention? Has someone used it to make another jealous or to see if he/she is on the dating app? Do people really go on dates through these type of apps?
@hindril I know a few girls who have met their boyfriends on dating sites, and Bumble seems to have the highest success rate in my friend group. Some girls probably don't take it super seriously, but some girls do.
@snowangle Thank you. I am on 3 dating sites. lol. Lets see who wants this man! No luck so far, but since I am new, I don't think I put a proper "about me" phrase. It's kind of hard to put something about yourself that will catch others attentions.
@hindril Don't think of it as a way to catch others' attention. Just give a real authentic snippet about the man that is Hindril.
@snowangle thank you. I will.
good for you trying to use it for a date for once. I understand why you and women are apprehensive about it. I mean I'm a guy and I would set up a meet up with said person at like a coffee shop in the day time where we both meet and just like 20 minutes. As you really just want to know the person a little to see if you like them and such. But even though I'm a dude, even I think about being smart when meeting up too. It's kind of related though in the sense it's about men. Women and you want to make sure you're safe when meeting a guy. And I want to make sure I'm not catfished and it's a dude. I'm not worried about a girl, but If I'm catfished, I rather it be in public out in the open and not meeting at night at a bar expecting a girl and it's some dude ha. They say how it can be dangerous for women, but a boy was robbed and mugged from meeting, whom he thought was a girl on a dating site only to find out it was faked and was mugged by some guys.
my profile, was short, but seemed to be like by my buddy's girl friend and her friends ha. You know how flinstones is kid approved, well mine was girl approved. Can't get dates but always seem to have a match or so each week despite only being in bumble for a month and a half and some convos, but that flaked out. And other likes, but wasn't interested in said women. I'll have to change it since summer is over now but my profile was."I enjoy taking long walks to the fridge at midnight. Now taking in applications for sunscreen appliers.
what made you chance you're mind this time?
I wondered if stuff lime that happened where it is a fake profile to mug someone. I'm in a small enough area it would be hard to do that. Lol. I think I might stick with it and see what happens.
I barely got anyone to talk to me when I am okcupid I get a lot of messages. But the two guys I talk to one ghost me after a few days the other just match to cuss me out.
Hahahahaha and you think real life is different?
OMG 😂😂😂 silly
Have you been on it long? Have you been on a date from someone on it?
@hindril yeah but a lot of men dont even respond. hahah
Really? Thats kind of odd. Lol. I'm just waiting I guess. I've only been on it a few days. I'll see what happens.
Why not? I think if you like something go for it
You're right. Why can't there just be one where I can get hugs instead of sex?
Ha most dudes won’t get laid from tinder or bumble, so it’s not even something fuck boys would have success on. I read a report where more that 70% of women use dating apps either for attentio/ ego stroke or out of boredom. So they may match or converse but rarely meet ups happen. Because most women using it especially cute pretty ones used it with no intention of meeting any dude. whetas I obviously more often guys are using it to meet women or in hopes whether sex or relationship.
I thought the app didn’t work or I was doing something wrong because it was 2 weeks of swiping with no response before getting one
I didn't like it
A large majority of women use dating apps just for attention and never with any intent to meet. So most guys aren’t getting meet ups let alone laid using such apps. Only dudes that really get ass from it would be guys in the 10% of looks. Like model movie star looks
Haha what do you mean?
then i want my money back!
What money? 😂😂😂
they shouldn't call an app Bumble if you can't bumble with it :/
The hookup/dating app isn’t really my thing 😅
Not everyone has. No need to be rude about it.
Why? Like any other dating app, which i tried for two years no one ever wanted me.
