But maybe consider using something apart from tinder cause well - it has a certain reputation.
Thanks for your very helpful reply! What other dating apps would you recommend?
I think it depends on your area, I'm sure if you look up Tinder it will give you some other suggestions based on that, where I live the next most popular is Badoo.
Bumble also has much better quality women

They found that about 42% of Americans on Tinder are in relationships..
Well, there are those weirdos who use tinder to make new friends among other reasons
Seeking friends on Tinder? I don't think so.
They even admit it in their bio.
As a guy, I could argue the same about girls who are just looking for one-night stands with the hottest guys online and fishing for compliments and likes. It's a superficial app for both genders, there is a small % of people who use tinder who aren't looking for sex, who are legit/real human beings and not some catfish profile.
@The6ix What dating app would you recommend then?
This is blowing my mind. I find it difficult to keep relating as I get older each year. I'm not sure The6ix is even making sense. The more time I spend around people (I know, funny sounding) the more I am realizing that 21-25 years can be pretty traumatic in today's world. And to complain that girls are looking for one-night stands with the hottest guys just doesn't make sense relative to many of those women's day to day grind. Like, lol. They're probably doing two retail jobs, interacting with idiots all day, on dating apps and during their sparse free time. And then... god forbid a hot guy talks to them. I just don't know. I have a new appreciation for things from the woman's perspective after reconnecting with an old friend and talking.
Meh not a huge fan of dating apps, but if you really want to try other apps other then Tinder, Bumble and Happn are okay.
Girls are into confidence lol, what do you expect? The average guy gets less than 1/100 likes so you have to stand out somehow. You want a guy to say: "Meh I'm alright"? I haven't used tinder in years but I just think it's funny when girls talk about guys behaviour when they're the ones incentivising this kind of behaviour. Guys on tinder just do what got them laid in the past.
@Robertcw oh look the guy who’s trying to butt in and act like douche good job @robertcw
@The6ix Not at all man. I don't know what you're seeing but I'm just talking about how things are for many people in their real lives.
Why can't you talk to guys on there? Were they weird?
It’s like the luck of the draw I just don’t want to deal with it. Some are just weird, one guy asked if I had fun daddy issues, half want to hook up by the time I screened them out because obviously they’re going to full on admit that. I’ve only met one guy and he rubbed my the wrong way. I don’t really meet guys in person but I’m fine being single than an app
When you say one guy rubbed you the wrong way. What do you mean? Was he saying dumb shit?
I wouldn’t say dumb it was more of questioning my job and having shitty input. Bringing up politics which we had 2 different views on everything and he wanted to argue so I was over it.
I sent you a message through DM, it’s not dumb lol I just wanted your view on something
