What do you think of a dude climbing up in the oil business? Like making contact with owners of oil companies and such?
Not a big fan of oil companies but if he’s moving up as in he’s owning something than I’d be attracted if not no lol oil companies aren’t too good to be apart of
I think a lot of waste could be reduced in the oilfield, I'd like to eventually get into nuclear energy.I wouldn't be running an oil company, I would be talking to the people who did while working for the guys that build the pipelines, pumps, and all the physical parts of the oil business. Still similar amounts of money, just without the mineral rights. Thanks for answering by the way. I really appreciate the response.
I wouldn’t mind that as long as he’s the boss and making enough money to support him and our future fam. You’re going good I’m sure that’s a good job :)
From what it sounds lol I have no actual experience to know
Thanks for the input! Good to know there are more young people who think long-term. What part province are you from? I'm not that far from the border. The state I'm in straddles Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Not exactly what I meant but thank you for you input lol
What did you mean? I'm beginning to "gay-hooker" was waay out of left-field.
As an example, a carpenter vs a buisnessman
Assuming both make 100k a year, would there be a difference in interest? Or not really?
I gotcha. A carpenter would be different though. Less diversified income (stock options) and more of a skill that would be extremely useful around the home. Also possibly better living for a carpenter. Owning land vs high-rise apartment.
