Does it bother most guys if the woman is more dressed up on a date than they are?

I'm the girly type and like to wear skirts and dresses. I think I look better in those type of clothes and to me, they're more comfortable than pants. But often, when I've gone on dates, the guys made comments about me making them feel underdressed.

That makes me feel like maybe I should dress more casually on dates instead, to make guys feel more comfortable. I've never been bothered by what any of them were wearing. Is it really that big of a deal for guys? What are your thoughts on that?
