Why is sex so necessary in dating when you barely know each other?

I can only really answer this personally, so I'm not sure if anyone else really feels this way, but here goes:

1. Sex is an innate, intimate feeling. Sex drive isn't something you can turn off, so naturally high sex drive = higher importance of sex. When your sex drive is high and someone denies you, it's like feeling hungry but the person next to you won't share their food. Of course they're not obligated to share, but it still makes you feel bad when they don't. You don't really try and explain hunger, so it should be the same with sex drive. I'm very aware that you die without food, but you don't die without sex, but the feelings that lack of food and lack of sex create are similar. At least to me.

2. Sex is something women hold over mens heads. They love to make men jump for it. That train of thought is embedded in our world now. Women are taught that sex is so special that only men that earn it should be rewarded. So what about men that don't get sex? They feel like absolute failures. Nobody wants to be that guy, so they try their best to get laid. It's just that much more frustrating when women, who can snap and have a dude willing to fuck them, tell men not to care so about it. It just feels like a lack of empathy on their part.

Tl;dr it feels really bad when you aren't sexually desired by girls.

I for one think that sex early on in the game is not really a good idea. If sex happens early, you will have no idea if the other person has any morals, self control, or just playing games. Hold out for a while. If they are the cheating type, that's what they will do and you will know early on. This is why waiting until there is a commitment of some sort is important. The time test is the best thing there is to snuffing out a potential cheater.

First its the same principle as buying a car you test drive it before you start putting serious cash into it plus sex has lots of stress relief and health bonus
