Where did you start?Did you get hurt on the way?
I started by going to therapy. A good therapist will help you grasp the feelings and thoughts you don't even fully understand or recognise. Talking about it helps you make sense of them. As of today, perhaps sounds a bit weird, I have a list of helpful key points in my mind that I obtained in those sessions. I still refer to them whenever I have a bad day or moment. Like a mantra I tell them to myself over and over. I got hurt a lot, some of the panic attacks on the way were just brutal, but it was all worth it, 100%. I have no problem approaching handsome men, I'm fine with opening my mouth whenever I feel like it, I am not paranoid, I don't hide away anymore. I'm there, I'm present and enjoying life. Sure I make a fool out of myself sometimes and yes I still get hurt but who the f cares. I don't want to be in the driver's seat in my own life.

Yeah playing sports actually helped because I was in front of so many people and I took a speech class in college
