LOL. Dare ya to do that as somebody around 20 to a female around age 20 without causing trouble. Come on now. Be realistic. This isn't 1965. Sorry sir. xD
@errorgoodnameunfound I think you listen too much to the news media and social media trying to change the social structure of the country. A 20 year old guy who thinks the woman is always suppose to make the first move is what my generation would call unmanly, a wimp, or worse.
I dated two 20 year olds within the past year and initiated the first kiss with them on the second date.
@Avicenna You're also 50 years old, so either you're lying, or they were likely were showing appreciation for that fancy meal you got them and can't wait for more in the future. 20 year old gals dating a 50 year old? SOMETHING is up.
@errorgoodnameunfound 1. If @Avicenna says it happened, then it happened. You need to apologize for suggesting that he is a liar!2. There are many reasons why girls prefer older men. Yes, some girls like the money that an older man can spend on them, but if you think ALL women are that shallow, that is a huge insight into what your problem may be.
You make a good point. Of course I think your answer would be more appropriate if the question was "Do girls prefer guys that make the first move?", to which I say yes, they definitely do. Let's be real, a good amount of men hate making the first move. We simply do it out of necessity because women expect us to. When it comes time to sink or swim, what other choice is there? The men that dont make the first move just end up being single forever.
Thanks @OlderAndWiser.I make no apologies for knowing how to show a woman a good time. It's actually easier to find a woman in her early 20s rather than one who is in the 25-36 age range.
1. Not apologizing to anyone, because I said it was a POSSIBILITY not concrete. Read it again, this time... maybe with reading glasses?2. See, now like you, I COULD ignore the word "if" and assume you are saying Im sexist, but I know how to read carefully. Anyways, yah, never indicated I thought that, but that's a 30 year diff this guy is pushing, so more than likely, it ain't looks that got the date. How ironic you NEARLY assume Im sexist, when I have dated before and in fact, the mom liked me just as much as her daughter a big reason because I was NOT sexually aggressive. Also, in that relationship, SHE asked ME out. We ended it on good terms because I moved away and she actually misses me and so does her mom. IRONNYYYYYY
@errorgoodnameunfound: Yeah, everyone over 30 is ugly as sin and everyone under 30 is automatically attractive. Sure.
@Avicenna I never said it was set in stone, but aging is aging. Why would a girl in her 20s go for a 50 year old when there are likely many similar guys far younger? 20s 30s 40s. It wasn't with marriage in mind was it? Cause usually, not the case...
@Avicenna uh, so, correct me if wrong, you don't want anybody older than 36,... (what about girls 37-50) but yet, you expect 20 yr olds to be OK with 30 year age difference? double standard much? Don't come crying to me if they turn on you one day yelling rape or assault partially because your age increases chances to get away with false claims.
@errorgoodnameunfound: No, none of us had marriage in mind, just a good time (20 year old university students generally do not have marriage on their minds). One of the mistaken assumptions that you're making is that it's all about looks rather than companionship with someone who's interesting.
@errorgoodnameunfound: The number 36 was a bit arbitrary, but based on my experience in the past year (plenty of women 37 and older available on dating apps, but not ones between 25 and 36, for whatever the reason). I also dated some women in their 50s, so obviously I don't have anything against them. The claim of a "double standard" is just plain nonsense. We're all consenting adults with our own goals. I also don't know where you get the notion that an older guy is more likely to get accused of sexual assault.
You make women sound like you have daddy them. They are adults, they can do things themselves too. Life isn't about waiting and having things handed to you.
Errorgoodnameunfound You ain’t got no fucking clue about women so STFU.
@Gisellesupreme yes because you know me and my life, therefore, that statement is super logical.
Not only would such a guy have been considered unmanly in my generation, @OlderAndWiser, he would have gotten no interest from females whatsoever and been mercilessly made fun of by other guys.
@Gisellesupreme you do realize when people here tell me to be quiet, I talk 2x as much right? lolz. Thanks for the invitation. :)
@Avicenna Yah, not your generation anymore. Most gals today would be creeped out with a 50 year old initiating a kiss. Facts. You want to see for real, set up a poll, get a sample from this site to get an idea.
@Paul09 who are you talking to?
@Avicenna You say "companionship" but if I remember right, you were bragging about initiating a kiss. That's more than a companionship sir.
@errorgoodnameunfound The problem is that men are damned if we do and damned if we don't. If men adhere to traditional standards of masculinity, we get accused of having 'toxic masculinity', yet if we don't, we get told we're not "real men", there's literally no winning.
@Hunter7754 My point exactly! But apparently, sir olderandwiser and his bff Avicenna still think its 1956 or so, refusing to see otherwise.
@errorgoodnameunfound: LOL, I've found some young women do appreciate a guy paying for the date and making the first move. I don't know what sort of gargoyles you've been around, but older guys will get the girl if you're too afraid to make the first move.
@Avicenna Where the hell do you live where that is normal? Phillipines? Eastern Europe?
@errorgoodnameunfound: I live in a college town in the US
@Avicenna That can actually explain a bit possibly. "College town" means only so many people around especially with covid 19, so that means fewer "dating" options. It's not like its a city with a billion options, and if it's not even for a major college, that has even more effect on the population side. Lastly, college is expensive so why wouldn't girls, who often major in near always dead end liberal arts degrees, refuse free food from an interesting guy of any age? Many young guys don't even go to college anymore. So yah, that right there could explain a lot.
@errorgoodnameunfound We want the men to make the move and be men. It is THAT straightforward.
@Gisellesupreme I thought traditional masculinity was 'toxic'? When men do act like men, we get accused of having 'toxic masculinity'
@Gisellesupreme; Exactly. That's what I've been trying to tell this soy boy.
@Avicenna American youth pay far too much attention to the media and all of the PC garbage that it spouts. They can open their eyes, look around, and see for themselves.
@Gisellesupreme That's like saying that women should stay in the kitchen. Double standards much?
Oh and let's not forget equality.
@Paul09 nailed it. Some women want that tho, and for these inferior, more lazy beings, fine by me if they want to shut up and make sammiches, but if Im with a girl, I don't want a near robot. 't
@Hunter7754 Also, pretty sure Giselle is a coward. I got reported for the last comment to you. Happens every time though. Some "conservative" woman wants "traditional" ways until they get it 100% and bluntly, then whine and pout when its mean and restrictive. Giselle is basically a Tomi Lahren clone. xD
oh wait she inactive now LOL
Then that makes men who can't approach a girl losers. Can't even man up to talk and approach.
@Lokibebe21 It's not that. It's that women overall have established they want equality. Equality is EQUALITY not privilege. Accept is or as it seems, sex bots and robots in general can replace easier and cheaper. Blunt truth, but ik you are 90%" likely to rage/deny with that statement. Prove me wrong.
Prove u wrong to what? Don't even have a clue what you talking about. I'm only stating that if she thinks girls who can't do it are losers, then so are guys. It shouldn't be one sided. y'all forget their are tons of guys who can't even man up to talk to a girl.
I swear, men this days are easily triggered. Lol
@Lokibebe21 Thanks for proving me right :D Didn't I say you'd deny? HE indicated he wanted BOTH to be able to do so. I think you read it wrong. "They" likely meant "men" Stephen NEVER said a man should NOT EVER do so as literally, 15% of people think that.
only 15% if lucky. Likely less.
Proving you right? U retarded or what? When did he say both? I think "They" refers to women. What a moron. Read it again, there is no "BOTH" like how u make it out to be.
Ok I'm done talking to a guy who doesn't make any sense. Wanna argue with a stupid thing.
Don't even have a clue where u got that fucking 15%. Maybe thats ur brain functioning percent.
@Lokibebe21 LADIES AND GENTS! PRESENTING THE MAGNIFICENT MRS. PROOVED ME RIGHT! *APPLAUSE* :DYou REALLY believe he thinks no man should EVER make the first move? The stats say otherwise.www.hindustantimes.com/.../...IXTMdLRdxrPMYCK.htmlwww.thegentlemansjournal.com/.../Shouldn't HAVE to doesn't mean NEVER Mrs. HOW DARE YOU DISAGREE I AM INSULTING YOU AND STORMING OUT NOW RAAAAAAAAAAWR!
@Lokibebe21 You’re right about men being cowards if they’re physically unable to approach a girl. But you sound like you’re defending girls who like guys they just won’t approach. Why?
THANK YOU! PROVED ME CORRECT EVEN MORE! Let's now see what mrs. RAWR YOU DIAGREED RAAAAWR has to say! :D
Like duh, coz I'm a girl. I think u are right. But stop calling it as a princess complex. Stop making other girls feel bad about themselves. I know a lot of girls who won't approach a guy not bcoz they have princess complex but they are scarred to be called desperate. What im just trying to point this whole convo, if you gonna look down on girls who can't approach guys bcoz of anxiety, dont forget their are men who can't man up also. It shouldn't be a one sided. Coz this issue is not just females problem but also males.
Then @errorgoodnameunfound jump into the convo. Blabbing non sense things like a retarded. Like bruh. How annoying.
@Lokibebe21 You’re putting words in my mouth about taking sides. Women who won’t approach are losers, men who won’t approach are losers. Not once have I said otherwise. But no surprise feminists like you will look to start needless arguments in the comments. There is nothing praiseworthy about girls who won’t approach, therefore I said nothing controversial... but you did by twisting the point I made and imply I’m too sexist to see the flaws in men too
@StephenCF Then be careful on how you say things nxt time. Coz what u origanally said is really offending to women. It like an insult. Like as if all men are worthy of dating. Ok I'm done.
@Lokibebe21 Yes. I am terrible. Horrible. No good. Very bad. In fact, I see in a corner. I shalt stand in it. I shalt stand in it until I will be perfect like yourself :/ Im the one who misinterpreted and didn't admit mistakes when called out.SHAME. SHAME ON MEEEEEEEEEEEE! T-T
@Lokibebe21 In the age of #MeToo, approaching girls outside of dating apps like tinder and such is a recipe for disaster in many cases. Its better for men to just play it safe and only use tinder or other dating apps. Men who dont approach women aren't "losers", they're smart and realize the juice isn't worth the squeeze. The workplace for example used to be a great place to get to know women and ask them out. Now with the huge paranoia over sexual harassment in the workplace, its a huge risk. Sexual harassment policies are very flimsy. When I worked at goodwill, the only requirement for you to be guilty of sexual harassment was if you made someone 'feel' uncomfortable, not whether you did something objectively wrong or inappropriate like grabbing your coworker's butt or something like that. It could be something as dumb as telling a 'Thats what she said' joke in the breakroom and someone overhearing it and feeling 'uncomfortable'.
@Hunter7754 ^^^^^ my point exactly. I also know a guy who got fired for making a joke or two. Times changed. Gals wanted equality, they can't be hypocritical with it, cause guys WILL figure it out and will eventually just forget women in general, except pump/dump. No exceptions to the word equality. Period.
That is exactly how I’d expect you to act. Your description fits my perception of you perfectly. Using an expression I usually despise- “ you be you”... lol
Haha thanks i suppose. Dont know whether thats a good thing or bad thing😄👍
It was meant as a compliment, of course. Any guy would be thrilled to have your attention.
