Why do my matches on okcupid respond to my message, then disappear?

Like i'lll check 30 minutes later and see they are gone. One time I checked as soon as a received the email. The profile was gone.

I know their are a lot of fakes on the site that probably get reported and deleted, but this is the second time in a row i've matched up with someone and checked their message a few minutes later to find they're gone.

Get off of those dating apps!! They don't work trust me. I used have dating apps and I get no messages at all!! All those girls on dating apps they're just telling you don't date us we have problems!! they're only looking for their egos to get boosted that's it. Also all of them are NOT serious on dating or going out on dates!!
