Why women would choose a short guy over a tall guy?

My guess is your personality is bad and/or you're just boring. Online dating apps are focused on looks more than personality so good looking guys win there. Real life is focused more on personality than looks, so the more average looking guys do better in real life than online.

Many good looking people actually have very poor personalities and/or they are just boring with nothing going on for them other than their looks. This may work for hookups, but it doesn't work for actual relationships.

My guess would be that when it’s face to face, in real life, where men actually talk to women. He talks to women and you have your head down staring at your phone.

there are those oddities of the world...

not everyone is the same

but generally women prefer taller because it makes them feel like they're protected, and that's just what happens with taller men and shorter women
