If someone you are interested doesn't reciprocate or snobs you, after how much time do you move on?

If they are vague, I give them the benefit of the doubt and interpret that as just being confused, unsure, or currently undecided. So I give them all the time they need.

But if they specifically say No, then I let them go and move on completely.

But I think the girls know this, and I think a lot of them fail to give a clear answer for that very reason. Because they don't want to be given up on. Because they see the goodness in me; and while they're not currently sure what they think of me, they don't want to lose me as an option in case they somehow magically one day come to the realization that I am the One. ... Though I think that's kind of f'ed up, and I think all parties involved would be better served if the female would just be willing to meet up and spend time together and do a full investigation of compatibility (nonsexually, of course.). Then, if a negative determination is made, we could go our separate ways and stop wasting each other's time.

The problem with moving on is that you need to drop any dislike, envy, hatred, to the person who subbed you. As long as t am affected by another person'as opinion of me than I may have moved on physically but I haven't done so emotionally. I think that level of ongoing resentment exists, and I'm still in a toxic space until I can let go completely. Sorry to piggyback on your share but I think it's subtle enough to be overlooked.
