Should I confess to my crush or keep it a secret?

Question

So I've had a crush on this guy in my college for like two years now. I think he knows. He knows for sure. And I had decided that before I leave college I'll confess. Now he's in a relationship. His second girlfriend over the span of three years. And he's been with her for the longest time. She seems good too.
Anyway, enough of details, should I confess? I feel like I shouldn't because of the girl code or something.

Well with another girl it's a little hazy... I think it's more than just girl code... Im not going to make the choice but for these outcomes you have to ask which one you want and why. He dumps her immediately, he has always felt the same things for you and finally you are sharing the same feelings with him, the girl of 3 years has devoted her life to him and has wasted those three years and is now heartbroken and needs to recover.. or... You admit your feelings to him, he is happy you did but admits that he is with the girl he wants but thank you or why are you telling this to me, this is not very considerate.

It might play out like one of those. Now there is an idea of sharing your feelings getting them off your chest. To make them known with no regrets that you did.

But you have to take time to think of the effect. What will happen because you did it and maybe by just writing something like a note to him might be a way you can wish him well while still being able to feel good that you said something
