I wouldn’t call it popular , but common like any other relationship , you date who you choose to date and you are attracted to what you are attracted to, if people were getting together just because it seems popular then I honestly feel sorry for those people that they will never really experience true love if they were only dating seeking attention, and dating someone because it seems popular , that is pretty silly to be honest , I honestly don’t think a black guy or a white girl wakes up 1 day and thinks wow all the black guys and all the white girls are dating each other today so I need to go find one so I can fit in lol If they did I would feel sorry for them honestly I have met girls from all races that I thought were attractive and that I would have no problem with rolling around in bed with , So it just comes down to what you are attracted to and who you hit it off with, Everyone has their own preferences on what they like and what they are into , the only people it effects are people that are racist that think a skin color makes who that person is so if a white girl chooses to date a black guy it doesn’t effect me at all it’s their life , if a white guy chooses to date a black girl it doesn’t effect me what so ever it’s their life and what they choose to do , I dated a Spanish girl that I really liked and hit it off with , her and I had so much in common and things were going great with us until her racist parents put an end to it , they didn’t want to see their daughter dating someone other then her race which was fucked up but we live in a world where racism will never go away
