I drive for Lyft and Uber. Last night in the car three women in their 30s got into the vehicle. The one sitting directly behind me was complaining about her mother trying to push her into a new relationship and back into the dating game after her marriage of three or four years fell apart. She's not in any hurry. The one she was talking to sitting immediately to her right then trying in about how she currently is dating four guys is sexually active with all of them but really is not impressed with any of them. And the third gal who was sitting behind the passenger seat just kind of laughed and said they were both making too big a deal out of everything. I offered these factual occurrences as a kind of slice into the honest realities about dating. I can offer only this and I as far as I know these statistics have not changed. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but women statistically cheat on men at a ratio of 2 to 1. So my dear boy chances are she is lying to you she's probably got two or three other guys that she's shtupping on a regular basis. Don't make a big deal out of it cuz it really isn't and honestly it has nothing to do with you. Point of fact is if she digs you and is into you she'll show you with her behavior. And this goes for both men and women, do not pay any attention to the words that are coming out of their mouths, watch the behavior. It's what they actually do that's important, not what they say. You'll discover the truth by observing their actions.

Dating doesn't mean your official, just means been on a date. If she has only been on one date, not even sure what 'official' dating actually means other than your going on date (s) with someone.

Official is when you as a couple decide your boyfriend and girlfriend or just friends and move on.

I won't say she is lying, if it is just one date, most would not consider that anything official.

Unless there is an exclusivity agreement a person is free to date others. You therefore have no claim nor is she required to tell you what she does. Girls/guys typically date more than one person at a time. It is none of your business who until you have an agreement to be exclusive to each other. In fact by prying you just may find yourself eliminated in the running.

It is not weird to have been single for long and going on dates now and then without there being any proof on social media. If it is only a couple of dates and it does not evolve into more I would actually think it weird if it was posted online.
If you do not trust her it is going to be very hard getting something going, especially when you likely have some distance between you I assume, you being in the air force.

If she’s back in the dating game, it’s very possible she went on a date with someone else. And just because someone has been single for a long time doesn’t mean they are incapable of meeting others and talking.

I don’t find it very hard to believe that she went on a date recently but still considers herself to be single. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

Probably not lying, one date or two is not officially dating yet so she isn’t really dating yet so I don’t know why she said yeah yet, that’s not really being taken
