But really, I don't think his collection would be a problem in itself. I would be more worried about how much he played his games and whether or not there would be time for me, quality time, and maybe in the future whether he would just sit playing games and expect me to be his 'mom' - as you hear about those types a lot.

Well before I moved out of my parent’s house, I built cars with my dad! Like my Jeep, and a few 64/65/67 mustangs, a 67 and a 69 Camaro, the ‘78 Jeep CJ7 that made me fall in love with jeeps. Also, gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance (ballet, tap & jazz when I was a kid, and contemporary dance after age 12.).
It isn't an issue unless he plays video games more than 2 and half hours and maximum 3 hrs on holidays. I will also join him instead. If he plays too much then I will also spend my whole day in composing music so he will learn his lesson. But I won't start dating a guy who is addicted to game (one who can plays for more than 3 hrs) . Huge collection isn't an issue but the amount of usage is a thing of concern.

I guess I hit submit before I finished posting, I do not have an issue so long as he isn't addicted to gaming and ignores me. I like what I call "me" time that we both should get to do our own thing, within reason. I don't expect him to give me all his free time, nor do I want him to expect that of me either.
He did get me a Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas to try and get me to play Arizona Sunshine with him, and so far I'm a professional zombie hugger and have kind of given up, but at least its good exercise. Instead I've moved onto Beats Saber, love that... dancing to the tunes, ducking the blocks hitting the tunes and jumping left or right. I've hit the wall a couple of times when I'm in the VR world and get moving too much.
