Be someone “you” would want to date.


Preferably working and/or in school and bettering yourself…


Probably having a decent car that doesn’t constantly leave you stranded.


Probably be good with animals and kids - provided you want “long term.”


Have a place where you can be relatively alone - just in case. Make it decent for a woman. Not effeminate, but clean to look at, make sure the bathroom is clean - and have some contingencies - towels, extra TP. Some suggest having emergency feminine hygiene products (you might not need to go THAT far, though).


At 22, you won’t have it all, and not everything will be figured out. But aim for what you can.


Try to have some legit hobbies that YOU like so
you have a life. Have some other hobbies that you like that are “cool.” Dancing, guitar lessons, etc. if you don’t meet women there, then at least you might have more potential to be interesting when you do meet women.


Learn as early as possible how to talk to people, and especially how to talk to women - even women you’re not interested in “in that way.” I didn’t get that chance much, and had some really bad (and WEIRD) experiences, and I haven’t quite picked it up, even at my age. Learn how to talk to women you’d like to talk to and spend time with, and learn how to attract them.


Learn fashion basics and find a style that works for you (and says something good about you). Smell good. Keep the nose hairs / nails trimmed, keep the nails clean. Find a look that works for you. Don’t wear the same clothes five days in a row. Take showers. Use deodorant. Maybe a good LIGHT signature cologne, if you can swing it. Stay away from wearing clouds of Axe body spray.


Have a life. But don’t make yourself “too busy.”


Travel, if possible… I know… Covid and money can often kill it, but try to do what you can. I haven’t been able to travel in years - but I read up on different places, at least.


Then go out. Go places you like (hopefully there will be women there). Volunteer. Go to friend’s parties. Talk to people. Look nice. Don’t be an ass, choose battles wisely, and don’t be getting drunk every weekend.


Depending on where you are, the more of this stuff you can do, the better chances you’ll have.

As for the first step you have to get out there & when I mean get out there I mean get away from the house & let it be known you are single. Secondly you have to take chances & if someone catches your attention grow a set & introduce yourself to them.

I don’t know if this is relevant. Don’t be a liability off the bat. Don’t bring your slew of issues to them immediately. No one wants to take care. I know someone who struggles and this is one of their biggest issues.
