exactly i never understood this
The last time I visited my friend in the hospital most of the staff I saw in the halls were overweight and some by a lot. I wonder about people's mobility in an emergency situation which requires some fast action. I not being mean spirited but sometimes it is important.
They are paid to tell people their problems. I think it depends what kind of doctor, but most of the doctor professions in the medical world is stressful and they all cope in different ways
But isn't is better to have people with muscle? Thin female nurses probably have a hard time lifting obese patients while someone who larger can probably do it easier. If you don't work in the hospital then shut up because you don't know what's going on behind scenes.
@NatashaJ we get it you're fat and mad, move on
Lol that's all u got? Exaclty my point u can't argue when u know u don't know shit. Also no health professional lifestyle is a excuse for ur excuses get a life.
@NatashaJ hit the gym and lose weight and come back thinner next time ;)
"How can they tell someone to be healthy when they're hambeasts?" Because it's their job. & These people are going to the hospital willingly (unlike students who are forced to take gym classes, with fat gym teachers)
Because these people are asking for the help.

Some of it is also genetic and can’t be helped as much as others. But tbh I’ve never seen a doctor that obese personally. And yes that picture is obese not fat, but I presume he’s become that way and wasn’t originally. So again, you have to know someone’s reasons and experiences before judging.
I agree, plus just because someone is fat does not mean they are not unhealthy
@Eila-youreright about most of that. But if doctors are human, as you say, doesn’t that alone give them certain human rights? Like the rights spelled out in the constitution? Why has almost no one here thought of that? Who cares about what someone went through in this question? The only thing relevant is that here in USA, this idea of “banning” anything or anyone because of weight, is more like a banana republic rules... 😅😂🤣. 😎
@Girther10 i totally missed the government aspect of this question. Just went straight for the morals 😋
What about the notion that here we have things called rights? Freedom to pursue happiness. If a fatty wants to be a doctor, no one has that right to strip him from becomingbthat.
* becoming that
Maybe the poor man shouldn’t give financial advice, but he can’t be barred from pursuing his frdires
I didn't say anyone should be barred from doing so. I did not agree with the statement that we should ban them. But I would not want him to be my doctor.
Hahahaha... You reminded me of our childhood dentist who only had half his teeth. The other half lost due to bad tooth hygiene.
A ‘fat doctor’ was the only doctor that managed to diagnose an extremely rare brain condition in me and stopped me from losing my eyesight whilst other doctors failed to do so.
@AmourHoney one example doesn’t excuse a medical professional charged with the health of others, not taking care of themselves
But they’re taking care of other people, what they choose to do with themselves is no one’s business.
Right of course. How come no one else sees the authoritarianism in this? No one is talking about how restrictive such things would be it that this is unconstitutional
So far you and I are the only on d to say that. Your age tells me your ahead of your time, note msture thsn most of these people
Yes; but doesn’t it also matter that here we have certain rights? Like to pursue our own happiness? Guaranteed in the constitution? I know you think that matters, perhaps more than anything else?😎
What exactly, is “not possible”? Don’t you mean it’s not possible to deny anyone their rights? Besides the things you mentioned, you cam close to getting it totally correct. You left out the part that this whole idea is unconstitutional? That’s the FIRST ting that should have come across the mind of anyone reading this. But it seems, it never occurred to anyone here, yet. 😳
Why don’t you mention that they have rights? Along with the reasons you mrntioned? It seems like no one here ever heard of the constitution
@Andrew- who are you talking to? The Asker?
