I have trouble with Elvish myslf.
She's one of the lucky ones. I see teens that can't even do a signature.
@DorkVader I think I taught her that. They are bringing back cursive now but too late. Also, they chose not have spelling test either so my daughter can't spell basic words. She can spell long medical words but not regular words. We spent 3 weeks on and off prior to her medical entrance exam doing spelling tests. She'd study her math, science part then she'd come to me and I quiz her on dozens of words. Her third grade teacher who I really liked said that spell check made spelling tests not necessary. What it did was put kids in a bad situation. My daughter has been playing catch up from public schools since she started college. She is straight As because all she does during her waking moments is study. If they hadn't been teaching for the test she might have had a better education. I knew it was going to be rough going in because she lacked knowledge that I learned even back in elementary school back in the 1960s/
Wow, that's a mess
@DorkVader Luckily she got a 92 on her exam the first try so she's good.
Good for her and best wishes to her in school!
