You get the knowledge from the time that you put into the coursework to get the grades to get the degree. Plus some places will not hire if you're inexperienced and do not have a degree.
I have noticed if you are STEM and get a job with the government your pay increases faster with a Masters than with a Bachelors.
Interesting... I haven’t found that to be the case in the private sector, but it makes sense that the government would do that.
Oregon, U. S. where you living?
Also don’t wast your time with college unless you’re going to learn a trade. There’s no sense to rack up like $60K of student loan debt to get a degree that will start you off at making like $15 an hour. If you’re gonna be a doctor or lawyer fine, or if your daddy knows people and can get you into a job with you having the right credentials, fine. Otherwise don’t waste your time.
