But they are assuming I am not right. I sincerely believe I had a bad interview.
Well, yes. You had bad interview. And unfortunately there is no lifeline there. And dont worry. If you feel you were just having a bad day, or due to some reason, did not do your best. Just remeber that it is also their loss. They may not realise it now. But around 10-20 years down the line, when you are a successful manager of their rivals, they would definitely regret it
Well I have another way of making them regret it. What if I write a note to them expressing my interest where I actually sound as clever as I am in real life?
They have record of past interviews and candidates. They keep it in general so that they avoid interviewing same person and wasting time. But the laws in EU allow them to keep the records only for 6 months. I dont know how it is where you are from. But I would strongly advice against applying there.
I'm not applying. I thought writing af ollow-up with a next steps and saying I'd liek to reiterate my interest in the role
Its applying, but with extra steps.Come on. Have some self respect. Move on. I am sure you can find something else quickly.
But I'm not sounding desperate. I am just following up
When was the last time you wrote them? Following up usually is okay after 2 weeks and not later than 3 weeks.
Last week it was a super brief thank you note
ok. I still maintain that you should not. But you seem to have made up your mind. So good luck.
