Me too! I’ve always been better when it comes to writing, and interpreting texts. I’ve never been good at math, but maybe that’s because my teachers throughout the years haven’t taught me math properly.

Because people have different kinds of intelligence, and some are better at math, and others at language. It’s true that both of them are complex systems, but they are “analyzed” in different ways.
Comprehension is just an effort to find the way of understanding something. Countries who are killing the PISA have designed their education to teach students not to give up. Such as China or Singapore. I think most people who are bad at one of the two just never had the encouragement not to give up the effort of understanding.
