Yeah I did put my answers in a google doc. She said she won't accept it that way and it has to be turned in through her own format.
That's strange, what's the content of the assignment? how does she even know that you're not using Word lol, just submit the doc file right? that should be readable in Word...Does your assignment involve table format? some template from Word?
It's literally an answer sheetAnd that was exactly the problem- the original document consists of a table format. The document I sent her was like:1. A2. D3. B
Is she using automated grading tool? 🤦♂️Anyway you can create table in google doc too https://support.google.com/docs/answer/1696711Also why tf would anyone make students type MCQ answers in a doc file lmaoIt takes minutes to set up an online quiz, then all the answers are sent directly to the grader, not through a Word document 🤦♂️
Who knows lol
what now? do you get zero for that quiz 😂
Yeah, I don't think she's going to grade it at all if it's not in her format
The only way you can appeal and not get zero is you need to understand the grading process. Why exactly was your file rejected. Otherwise it's clearly your fault and you have no good reason either D:even though it's fucking ridiculous that you get zero for submitting a doc file could be opened in Word and the teacher clearly has access to all of your answers. How many questions are there? hundreds?
I did send it as a docx too, after the original email at the top. But again in the1. A2. Bformat, not her special table
Because she deletes the test materials after the testAnd I think I already deleted the unreadable file
yeah maybe your teacher doesn't have five minutes to cross check 43 MCQs for one student lolmaybe this course's grade is not important? what's the course?
Psych 101. 3 credits
do you need a high grade for this meme course?
HahaI guess it's resolved, my grade is in! I don't think the exam was counted but I still passed everything with a 4.0
nice, I am proud of you :)
Thank you so much.
I am scheduling a meeting with the assistant dean. I guess I'll start the paper tonight.
That is strange community colleges have a reputation for being more student focused. I would definitely try and talk with someone about this in the administration. Just remember that you are the customer when you're in college.
