Huh. Weird. That's what they're doing for me right now.
@ecfresh Either you are not filing in the USA, you think the stimulus check is "Unemployment, or your getting "Disability" confused with not having a job. Either way, you need to re-read your unemployment conditions
@Fatherhere901 I'm filing in Louisiana. I do get an extra $600 per week from stimulus, but my actual unemployment earning is $161 per week, which is exactly half of what I got from my job. I made $10.12 an hour, working 32 hours a week. That adds up to $323.83. Divide that by two and you get $161.92. Maybe just coincidence?
Website does say it tops out at $247 per week, though.

Yeah there are... Look under "Labor"... you will find a whole lot of them... and their fines.
So if you make $100K in one year and you get laid off, you say there is a law which allows you to collect $100K from the government annually for the rest of your life?
I was replying to your attitude when you replied to "Anonymous". If you believe you only get half of a weekly wage while unemployed, then you don't live in a "rainbow World". And, No, if you ever refuse a job or nor look for another job in your lifetime, your unemployment will end, as it should.
