I was thinking maybe a simple job in some office setting or similar.
Now i work retail and they cut my hours so an unlivable wage so i need a better job. I applid to other min wage jobs but they dont invite me for interviews. Maybe i should aim higher? I do have a degree but i usually leave that out on min wage jobs that dont require brains because i think it might help me get the job.

I have no idea whats around you for businesses. Look up light assembly... you might be assembling lights or some other sub assembly for larger things
Attitude is 90%... if you dont have the skill set... tell em you wanna learn.

As the other guy said, join the trades. I've seen quite a few female electricians. The jobsite I'm currently at has 3 female electricians, and 1 female plumber.
I dont wanna work with a bunch of dudes..
