In a work environment, do you treat rich people better than those who don't have a lot of money?

No. For one thing you can't always tell who has a lot of money as not everyone waves it around. A women I worked with had a reception at her house for a retired colleague who was back in town visiting. She was very down-to-earth and dressed kind of frumpy, but her house was clearly in the $3+ million range, and she lived walking distance from people like Joe Montana.

In my restaurant days, the rich ones were regulars so they got good treatment and we got on well as I could speak their language

In my current business everyone gets the same basic treatment until they become a customer

No, I treat everyone the same, rich or poor. Being rich doesn't mean you're better than others. I treat everyone with respect.
