Would you work extra hours unpaid at your current job?

I am salaried and when I took this job I worked 60+ hours a week for the same pay as 40 hours. I wasn't asked to do any of this extra work but as a result of doing that I became very well though of and I was considered indispensable to the company. I was promoted twice and when I went on an interview for a different company a few years ago then offered to make me the same level as my boss if I stayed.

I laugh to myself when people complain about working hard or extra. If they do it right they can come out on top

I accomplished a lot and educated myself on the workings on this corporation as well as advancing my knowledge of the technical field. My accomplishments were noticed by many in the company as well as consultants who were brought in as experts

I get a nice steady paycheck.
When covid first started I was working 13-26 hours a week with the same pay. I don't usually work over 70 hours a week.

I voluntarily signed up for the military, so yes.
I'm voluntarily on salary. I don't know anyone who isn't.
