At what point should I quit my job?

I've been in the works of trying to become an indi game dev. For the time being it's just something I do on the side but I would like to make it my fulltime job. At what point would I be financially stable enough to quit my 9 to 5?

Depends on the kind of risks that you can take. What kind of family you have. What kind of loans you owe.

I would say, to be on safe side, you can quit when your game starts making at-least 2/3rd of the money you get at your job.
