Not being hateful but they don’t need to know your life story or do they need to know you were cleaning your first impressions are always how you speak on the phone and when you walk through that door I know you wrote in one of your replies that it was just an initial interview and not the main one many companies sneakinly do initial interviews before they take someone to the next step which is usually the big interview in front of the hiring manager and many companies do make judgements if they feel you are the right candidate for the position during that initial phone interview I learnt this first hand from a hiring manager himself

If not and you were being pleasant with them, they shouldn't mind since you could provide it for them.
