What is high school like?

First the very best years in school are the last years of Jr High some call middle school and high school. The last year of high school can be so much fun but also stressful if going to collage. The first year of high school is similar to Jr High. Just learning the school layout is a stress. Socially just because you are popular before doesn't mean you still will be. The social ladder starts all over again. How people treat you is all about the energy you put out. Go in strong but very polite is best everywhere even collage and work later on. I would try and continue what you did before sports band clubs. I suggest if your school doesn't is for you to go explore the school ask someone you might know to show you around. Ask about teachers to stay away from and a school map. If you do not know anyone go to the office and ask. They love someone that cares enough to ask!

Really, it's more of the same stuff from middle school. Main difference is you and your friends would have grown up a little more. Though, I reckon it'll be a lot different from when I went to high school because of covid and whatnot.

You and your mates will undergo a drastic transition, everyone around you will change. You will make new friends and lose many.
You will be forced to stuff you are not ready for. Puberty will hit and you will develop strong feelings which will be really hard to control. You will learn a lot but it would be painful both mentally and physically. You might have to deal will this all alone.
There will be times when you will feel zoned out. Good luck!

Kinda shit, remember to enjoy your friendships there, while they last, because you will all grow out of it afterwards, besides that, what comes after is way worse, either college or work, pick your poison

When i went from Primary school to high school I found many changes and also couldn't believe how much is the same. The biggest adjustment for me was going from the higher grade "big kids" to been the "small kids" again. but that's for the first few day then it falls in to place. There are loads of changes that are going to happen, but nothing you won't be able to handle.

It can be, but each person is going to have a different experience. There's the usual teenage drama, cliques, and the classes are a tad more serious, but it's actually not a huge change from what you're already used to.
