I think UX/UI designers who are really good are maximally flexible and most willing to rework their designs that way... because most aren't engineers. They're not like architects who need a reasonably strong background in structural engineering to design buildings that don't collapse. Most UX/UI designers have almost no engineering background and that's okay, but that requires more collaboration and more iterations to arrive at a compromise and balance between engineering and UI/UX design.
