I am getting my RN here in California, USA. I expect to make around $80,000 USD/year after graduation, and once I have a year of experience I plan to do travel nursing and make around $120,000/year. But that will be due to working a lot of overtime, so I will have more than the average 2,000 hours/year of work. RNs get paid from $50/hr to $100/hr (for more overtime and experienced work).

In the US, an RN gets paid between $57K and about $90K depending mostly on which state as well as experience. A licensed practical nurse makes maybe 60-70% of that rate.
