Students, what is your note-taking routine and habits?

When I was in college, and then working on my MBA, I used the Cornell Model for notes.
They set up the page, a special way, so notes in one place, and then highlights, and major points in the margins. Then a summary of your thoughts, on those things, at the bottom
I also went back, after class, after reading the text, and added more, and re-wrote some, and added other things to lecture notes.

I don't really take notes. I usually record my lectures and sometimes take notes at the side of the recording (my recording software allows that) but since we've moved to zoom I don't record them. The lectures usually get uploaded to Aula (a website for education purposes, Google it if unsure.) So if I need to I can watch them again but I don't. I also don't listen back to my recordings. I also don't take notes when I'm reading something, I just read it and if I need to read it again.

Well, taking notes at universtity, then combining them with full transkript of presentation and before the exam summing them into shorter text (and sometimes making a summary of summary when the exam is hard).

This way I learn the essentials in a structured and keyword style.

Mine is pretty bad, let's just say it this way, whatever you are doing keep doing it 😂 although I was told if you own a book and you are studying from it, you can use a highlighter to highlight passages of importance but I suppose you could also use post it notes too..

I like to keep my notes stupid simple. The more simple I make them the easier I learn them, also a good trick for me is to write my notes simply on a single sheet of paper and study that one sheet. My brain picks up on it faster than a million pages

I would think some Students use notebooks or tablets to take notes down and place them in a folder that goes to that certain class you are in like if you have Family Planning take your notes down and have one folder just for the Family Planning

I take a lot of notes and have a folder at home where I put them. It helps me for studying for the exam later on.
