Would you work 70-80 hour weeks if it was the only way to get a job that paid higher than minimum wage? What if it paid $30/hour?

Please answer the first question first, then if your answer was no, please answer the second question as well. This question is inspired by a GaG user who told me that the only way to succeed is to work more than 40 hours per week.

"by the way it’s never easy!! That’s the whole point. Life is hard. It will force you to work hard, struggle, be up late and work on weekends. People who have higher paid jobs also have lots of stress and often are working 70 or 80 hours a week if not more. It’s not like a better job means you get to work 40 hours and are free on the weekends to live it up"

"Someone who works a full time job for minimum wage has chosen to do so, they were not forced to. Either they live as a family and share bills with others or they take on another job. They can of course feel motivated to learn and get a better paying job or get a promotion at that company."
