Food banks and computers?

is there anyone else like me that think there are more people using food banks that really shouldn't, I mean I was always taught, god helps them that help themselves (I am not religious) just using a phase, I mean a big bag of potatoes can be bought for around £6, check out where you can get eggs cheap, I know of a place that 30 eggs cost £5, in the late summer I see many apple trees near where an old railway line was,
as far as computers being given out during lockdown, all one needs rally over a years home schooling is the three R, writing, reading and arthritic, all the other things can either wait or a very minor amount can be told to children it would be more educational for them to learn how to go without

Like any system it will be abused I know a few people that should be on the food bank that are too proud so I guess it works both ways

should be on the food bank. if they have children I think they get about £21 for the first child, and I think £13 for other children, if that is spent wisely they have enough money, what I have seen is many have phones that are out of this world for me my phone is the basic , phone only, and I have worked along side my husband for most of my life, look we use to go on cruises, cost a lot and people have said you are lucky, lucky like hell we have worked long hours, my Grand parents have now got to pay for a TV licence, they are OK with that but there are others the same age and younger that get it for free,
the motto should now read spend your money don't save or you will have to pay for everything I know there is poverty but in the UK, this country has become very lazy, its one of the dirtiest with litter,

Thats a assumption made that they have a phone yes they have 1 but it was given to them and only used for phone calls and yes they get money but they still have to pay bills and then food and yes if spend wisely it can stretch but to spend money wise is somthing that is leaned and or taught and its not something the UK publicly teach again every system will be abused but its there for a reason and when used properly does help many people that need it

I was taught years ago, first you pay the rent etc, then families can help with food, OK there are families that don't have other's to help but that is nothing like the number that seems to go to these food banks, and may I say why can't they dig and plant vegetables in the garden, we plant things for food there, work never hurt anyone and that is what people seem to avoid these days, my husband worked and still works about 50 hours a week plus you are making excuses like a lot of others

No im not im simply looking at it in a way that not everyone has lived the life where they as taught how to dig in u said it yourself u was taught man people where not and great your man has been and still does work I imagen he had parents that ingrained in him a positive work ethic again that far from the norm these days because yes people as a whole are much more lazy then before some want to be in the situation they are in but thats not how all off them are if u believe thats a excuse than fair enough I won't argue to change that opinion but going into it as simple as I work they should work also is short sighted but its fine one othe rather problems these days is everyone thinks there life experiences are objecte to everyone else's

I don't think others should live my way, just work for what they get instead of relying on the government to keep them always, pride in maintaining themselves and family are a thing of the past, income credit is fine, but no one will convince me that there is that much poverty in England, you could keep writing till the cows come home, and I still wouldn't believe you

Yep thats completely fine its great speaking to people that are capable off doing that instead of demonising each other for thinking differnt

It is amazing how cheap food is when you cook it using staples. People should be trained first to help themselves.
