Darn, that's insane! First means first. In your case, the scrap you sold. Kudos!
These things matter a lot to us rather than flashy, expensive stuff.
That's an awesome thing for a first salary. :)
Awww! Is that your hair in the display picture? They're super awesome!

Woohoo! You made it count! :)
Woohoo! I hope your girlfriend and you had a gala time dining out.
LOL I was so busy at the time I don't think I had partying on my mind... LOL... That and getting my life in order after college... I really appreciated the girlfriend though. Good memories. She went on to become a lesbian later but I was glad to be with her before that... LOL!
So kind! :) What did you buy your best friend?
I took her on a date to Red Lobster and bought her a tablet for school🤗
Yeah, at your first job. That's awesome! :) What dishes did you have
I’m not sure cause this was around 15 years ago but I think it was a shrimp linguini or sea side shrimp trio.
Not bad. :) I'm sure it was satiating
Yeah, I love red lobster.
Good onya. :)
Now that's something! :) You must've had an awesome first job!
Haha I'm glad I could help you. Which cake did you buy though?
I bought Black Forest and piña colada. It’s delish
What kinda guitar is it?
it was a white Gibson Les Paul , not super fancy or anything but it had nice pickups XD
Daamn! I hope you savour it even today
You must've had a quality job! :)
Pretty cool! :) Miss Collie, could we be casual friends?
Woahh! Do you still have it?
Chloe, that's not an issue. You need not worry. It will come at the right time. :)
When I do have money, I buy a new cube or something for cubing
Best of luck for that! :)
That very nice of you
What did you buy? Aww! Thank you!
You must be in high school or stuff when you got your first payment.
I was still studying yes, and it was a short term job only two weeks
I'm sure you have minted a lot of bucks by now. :)
Are you British/Indian by chance? Just curious because of the way you talk. Not a bad thing just curious.
I am an Indian. :) How did you figure it out though?
The way you speak. Seems Indian with British influence.
You'd be surprised to know that I have never been to the UK or any Western country. The culture fascinates me though. :)
Some areas in India were heavily influenced by Britain though correct? As you are a former colony of Britain if I am not mistaking. Your English is very good.
Well, our culture is not heavily influenced by them. Yes, a lot of us can speak fluent English. I can speak in both American and British English. :) With or without rhoticity.
I know your culture as a whole isn't but I thought you had a specific region that was heavily influenced by Britain.
Neah, there are no regions heavily influenced by the Poms. However, we're taught British English in school. I've studied Archaic English too. Don't go by the media. We have millions of Indians who can speak English as fluently as natives do. :)
I'm just going off of what little I know about the British Raj not the media.
My bad. Yes, there's a bit of culinary and cultural influence of the Poms hither. Nice to meet you! :) Greetings to the States.
Be easy my friend.
I am. No worries there. Where do you live in the US?
Midwest. About a 2 hour drive south of Chicago
Darn, that's awesome! How's the situation panning out there?
I lived closer to the city during the riots so I moved to the country side where it is peaceful. Unfortunately my state is one of the worst to live in other than California and New York as far as politics go. My state has recently opened up businesses again after having them shutdown from the pandemic.
I feel so sorry for everyone affected by the riots. A stronger US is better for the free world. We're in this together. Dunno what to expect from the new administration though. I hope they don't reverse Trump's tough stances against China.
That is very refreshing to hear. You are a smart man and know not to believe the media at face value. Middle America is doing very well for the most part and our issues tend to lie in major cities. Unfortunately Biden will probably bow to China and have less aggressive regulations and trade policies. Their are pros and cons to every adminstration. Hopefully this one has more pros than cons.
I've always questioned the media no matter how authentic they claim to be. A single piece of factual information would be two different narratives in Fox News and TWP as an example. I think that Biden would be softer on China as well. The death knell of democracy is near. It's ironic that the party's name suggests otherwise.
I believe Andrew Cuomo needs to make way for someone mature enough to handle such an important state.
Sounds like you probably know more about American than I do. I just know what I need to and that is about is as far as politics go
Not really the case. I've been keeping an eye on how low the media can stoop to fulfil their agenda.
The media is owned by a few powerful elites and they definitely do not hesitate to push their agenda. Unfortunately most do not see through this and are easily tricked and pitted against one another.
Bang on. Their aim is to spread hatred amongst people. It won't benefit them if everyone lived in harmony and there was tranquillity everywhere.
Any amount, be it small or huge is always satisfying, especially if it's your first salary. What did you do with this?
That escalated quickly. :P
