How much money should I take out for college on top of tuition?

Aside from money for college tuition, how much money should I take out for college? I’m going to community college and have a grant that covers tuition. I’m just worried about being able to afford.. literally anything else lmao. Opinions?

Rent, tuition are the major block. You pay them 1st of the year or month or whenever you can. Don't skip this. Rent depends on location but $800 a month is a good bet.

What's left for you will be: food. Ideally, go on an extreme diet. Eat less if you don't have money. I know a guy can make it through the day with 2 medium fries and maybe a coke for about a couple months. Those give you loads of calories. Roughly $200 a month.

Then the stuff you sort of want if you want to live like a normal person. Cell phones, gas, electricity and water. Those can be $200-300 a month. You can skip internet and go for cellphone and free wifi only no problem. You can skip water and use your gym membership (if you have one) for your daily shower.

Next are the personal spending. You want roughly $100-$200 a month minimum. Then finally women's costs. These I am not sure.

Rent where I live is about 1k-1.2k but I’ll most likely be splitting that with either my boyfriend or a friend. Thank you for the tips to avoid spending too much money. I do plan on taking out loans, I just don’t know how much would be too much, or what amount of money is typically a good amount to take out. With the career I’m studying for, I only need an associates to start and as it’s a career in high demand and at the hospital, they will pay off my loans for me on top of my salary so long as I am working there. So there’s also that to take into consideration

Take government loans. Direct from the government. Not some private loan with government support or something. Private loans are bad business.

I live in sweden so school is free, during college I still lived with my parents. So my study income covered my expenses. University on the other hand I took out full loan, which isn't much and barely cover living expenses such as rent and food and books.

Yes. I plan on taking out a loan but I have not done anything of the sort yet.
