My cooperating teacher and I don’t get along, what do I do?

A cooperating teacher is the teacher who mentors you during your student teaching intership.

Long story short, I (the student teacher) and my cooperating teacher don’t get along. I’m worried mainly about a reference. Is it okay to not include her as a reference?

Answers from teachers would be appreciated, but I’m thankful for any advice.
