Definitely both. It's not every situation where empathy will help you, although its personal preference but the same goes for logic. Sometimes dont be a robot

In this age, logic and reasoning. I mean the amount of misinformation spreading around, we need people who could look at misinformation and be critical of these ideas.

Schools should teach everyone the basics to prepare them in live. Wether or not the pupils will choose to become a doctor or a plumber.

Both are equally important. If you don't teach either of them, you end up with huge issues in our society. Which is already the case.

I think suggesting reasons, why to be more empathic, could help. Sometimes people need to understand things better for them to have empathy.
