I didn't finish highschool, what jobs can I do?

got diagnosed by psychologist with low iq a month ago, i dont have highschool diploma and dropped out. what direction to move now.

You can make a lot of money in construction and especially road work if you have a strong body and willing to work hard. The problem is you don't want to do that more than about 5 years it will hurt your body permanently. Another good job to do or work toward is to operate machinery like a crane, forklift, bobcat, etc. Lots of equipment operators don't have degrees and get really good at operating the machines but it's more about dexterity than how smart you are.

So if I were to make a plan for you, I would say get a construction job, but save as much as you can (Ask your bank to set up an automated savings that puts $250-$500 of your paycheck into a savings account every month. And add more when you can). Then when you have about $20,000, buy a Bobcat and learn to use it carefully. You can then do work for people and start charging $50/hour. Once you feel confident about using it (about 500 hours of operation), you can start charging more, like $75 or $100/hour.

Skilled trades are good but will require thinking from time to time.

Maybe he should look into getting a job as a "general labourer" in construction to start out and watch the different tradespeople to try to find one that would be appealing.
