Working isn't the problem the problem is the garbage we call food that we consume. I think the reason cancer and bad health is so common now rather than how many years ago is because of all the additives and chemicals in our food. Chemicals in our water.

Mine doesn’t. I work the standard 38 and am on call every 3rd week (for an extra amount) but if I work any extra hours in that time I take time in lieu
But I think there is a big cultural difference with Americans working a lot more hours than we do here as a standard

I have a salary position. I usually fo around 48 hours a week. Possibly closer to 60 if I want to work extra.

I use the crock pot a lot. Because I can make big bowls of soup type stuff that's easy to put in Tupperware for another day. And when im off I'll cook for real like make some pasta or something. I always get 8 hours but occasionally might sleep less 4 hours at the least or maybe more 10 hours at the most.

So basically you have 6.5 hours of free time per work day per work week 8f you sleep 8 hours. That doesn't seem 'that bad.' But if you went for 10 hours, that's only 4.5 hours of time per day. Most of it probably at night after you leave work. So basically cook for one or 2 hours and then time for one episode of a tv show and a shower?

And if single... basically one or two hours a night to go out? Man students have more like all day and night to do whatever. Big contrast.

Never had one but they generally top out at 40 maybe 50 with overtime
