I was thinking of it, and even scheduled my 1st video-release on January 2020. THEN, the "Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998" (Public Law 105-277; "C. O. P. P. A.") issue arose, with the possibility of Washington's Federal Communications Commision (F. C. C.) fining channel-administrators up to $42,530 per rule-violating video, even to administrators outside U. S.-borders/jurisdiction (which is crazy).
No thanks. Generally, don't expect sufficient income (or any income at all) for 1-2years. (Ad-revenue only starts after reaching 1k subscribers. Even then, demographics of your viewers will dictate the ads & the provided income from them) Also, ad-revenue has plunged, so (as you may notice) channels have begun selling stuff, asking for financial-donations, and offering paid channel-memberships.
I dont think its that easy to make money out of it. U need a certain content. Which is really interesting in a way that gravitate subscribers. Who will STAY and not unsubscribe. Who will follow your new videos and share then and make u immensely popular. Hopefully to the point where u get sponsors. You should also post regularly, great quality work. Its very competitive so your work needs to be visually aesthetic. i know many YouTubers who are like on yt for 10 years or so and still has like 200k subscribes despite they work hard

It sounds exhausting to be honest cause a lot of set up has to take place but I think it would be a fun career for anybody who manages to pull it off.
I would love to give it a try but there are a few harsh realities. Firstly from most people I have seen it takes time. Both time out of your day and usually around a year to get established. While your getting established you will likely need to hold a 9-5 job so it is time consuming. Secondly it can be unstable. A lot of people have said there videos get taken down and demonetized a lot. Sometimes without a valid reason. However I would consider doing it myself but I don't exactly have the best speaking voice.
It's a really cutthroat environment. Unless you have a nice set of titts and a low cut top, it takes considerable talent, a lot of work, and some luck to make it work. Look at how good Itsagundam's content is, and how long he's been at it.
