UConn would likely have you on a meal plan if you are a Freshman. You may not have a microwave in your room, but have one in a communal area.If possible, cook - not microwave - real food. For this reason, I advocate moving off of the UConn campus and into an apartment the next year. YOU WILL QUICKLY LOSE YOUR HEALTH EATING ONLY FOOD COOKED IN A MICROWAVE. This is because microwave food is processed food so it is filled with chemicals and other shit that is not exactly good for your body.Having a car and living in UConn will be critical; you will be able to travel to Manchester for all the big shopping. Hartford isn't bad either. It should be a nice experience. You know who "Geno" is, right? You don't go to UConn without knowing who Geno is. He is God in Connecticut.
UConn will likely have a PO box in your dorm for you.Personally, I like to have my own PO box because, when you move, your address doesn't. And your roommates don't need to inquire about what you got since they will also be sharing that dorm PO box with you.
I see that. I PMed you.

If I did i wouldn't have asked this question
You think everyone else has information that you didn't get?
I'm asking, so that people who went to or currently in school can give helpful information to me
I'm telling you you already know what you need to know
