Yeah I do.

i am currently arranging a Viking weekend with some of my Teams.
basically in the back end of beyond, no electronic devices other than the safety n security tent (in case of emergency in and out).

barrels of beer.
Axe throwing
lessons on how to survive and forage in the world and make shelter, also some escape and evasion (Team 1 v Team 2).

all cooking and food is fresh and needs butchered.

other than that in last house I used to have dining evenings for my boss and other directors, and also for my managers and their teams,

now that I have moved it will be with mainly Newcastle site staff and will be a mix of dining in and BBQ’s.

I get an expense allowance from the company so can do this shit lol.

I would probably go (if I was invited), just so I feel like a good coworker and part of the group. But I don't enjoy social gatherings in general.

Yes I do enjoy it and I do go. I've built good relations with people I work with even their network. Mainly, business and nothing else.
